Introduction

Welcome to my blog. I'm a real estate agent who's been helping clients find their dream homes for over ten years. I love working with first-time home buyers and new families, so that's what I specialize in, and it's what this blog is all about. On this site, you'll find tips and tricks on how to know if you're ready to buy, get your finances in order before buying a home, find the right mortgage options for you, and more.

How to Tell If You're Ready to Buy a Home

  • Can you afford the monthly payments on a mortgage?

  • Do you have enough for a down payment?

  • Are you ready to settle down and make this home your own?

There are many other factors that go into buying a house than just these three; however, these should be your first considerations. If the answer is yes to all of them, then it is time for you to move on and find out what type of housing options are available in your area.

Fundamentals of Buying a Home

  • What is a home?

A home is a building that you live in. It has four walls and a roof, as well as other parts that make it livable, such as furniture and appliances.

  • What is a property?

A property is the piece of land where your home sits. If the house needs to be moved, the land will stay in place while the house moves over it along rollers made out of steel beams with wheels on their ends called "roller skates." The wheels are connected to axles (poles used by cars) via chains so they move along smoothly without much effort required on your part! This type of moving process takes place every day across America when people buy new homes or sell old ones during real estate transactions like yours here today at Leslie's Blog!

Should You Rent or Buy a Home?

Renting vs. buying is a question that many people ask themselves when it comes to purchasing a home.

In fact, I know lots of people who rent because they feel like they can’t afford to buy or don’t want the responsibility of owning property. And then there are others who have bought because their landlord raised their rent and they knew they could get a better deal if they purchased instead.

But no matter which side you’re on, there are pros and cons for each option (and nothing is ever black and white).

I can help you decide if you're ready to buy, and when you are, I can help you find the home of your dreams.

Buying a home is an exciting time, but it can also be incredibly stressful. While you might have lived in your current house for years, buying a new one will come with its own share of challenges and hurdles to overcome. I'm here to help you make this process as smooth as possible by ensuring that you are fully prepared for what lies ahead.

I want to make sure that we're on the same page about what we're looking for before we begin the search process. This way, we'll be able to focus on houses that fit your needs rather than wasting time looking at properties that don't meet them. I know how important it is for buyers not only find their dream homes but also avoid being rushed into making decisions before they’re ready—and that's why I'm dedicated to helping my clients find exactly what they need!
